VERSION 4.2 RELEASED!
We are proud to announce the release this month of version 4.2 of Welford Chart Notes and Welford Chart Notes - SQL Version. It is completely compatible with previous versions. This version is loaded with many new features and enhancements, including:
·
@Allergies, @Medications, @Diagnoses, @LabBook _COMMENT Modifier: look up the Comment on Allergies, Medications, Diagnoses, or any Lab Book result and paste it into the Writer.· Alerts Skip and Unskip: choose to not view specific Alerts (and later undo that decision).
· Appointment Log: archive old Appointments and move them to a different hard drive or CD.
·
Batch Importer Automatic and Erase File Options: automatically erase files imported by the Batch Importer. Used in conjunction with Instant Medical History to automatically import the history on each patient.· Brentwood ECG Links: send patient demographic information to Brentwood ECG machines. Review the ECGs recorded by the Brentwood ECG software and add your interpretation. See the ECG tracings from the Lab Book by clicking on the ECG icon.
· Chart Summary: design your own Template showing on a single screen various pieces of information about patients (such as their allergies, problem list, medications, recent test results, etc.).
· Comment Playback: insert Allergy, Medication, and Diagnosis Comments into the Writer.
· Comments of unlimited length: Comments are no longer limited to 255 characters.
· Datebook Privacy and Encryption: specify certain Datebook entries to be private to yourself, and encrypt them for greater security if you wish.
· Diagnosis Hiding: make certain diagnoses private so that you are the only user who can read them.
· Interactions Skip and Unskip: choose not to view specific Interactions (and later undo that decision).
· Lab Book Graph Head Circumference Percentiles: see percentiles when creating a graph of a child's head circumference.
· Lab Book Importer Comment: comments imported by the Lab Book Importer are stored as a Comment to the test they describe, rather than as a separate Lab Book entry.
· Medication Test Reminders: remind you to perform tests at regular intervals for patients on medications where such tests are recommended. You can edit your own reminders, and the program comes with over 1500 reminders.
· Order Edit Shows Lab Result: when editing a Order for a test that has been completed, the result of the test is displayed for your review.
·
Parser Quick Summary Includes Formulary Warnings and Referrals: the Parser Quick Summary includes any formulary warnings that are triggered and any referrals mentioned in your note.· Patient Locations: keep track of where each patient is located within your facility.
· Prescription Writer Font Option: control the font of the text in your Prescription Writer.
·
Prescription Writer Warn if Refills Too Soon or Too Late: the Prescription Writer, similar to the Prescription Log, now warns if you are writing a refilled prescription for a patient sooner or later than one would expect based on the number of pills in the previous prescription and the number of pills per day the patient is supposed to be taking.· Recall Log: records all of the Recalls you have sent out, so you can see if patients are failing to respond to them and not send non-responding patients recalls indefinitely.
·
Recall Print Left Columns for Addresses: fine tune where addresses print on Recall envelopes and postcards.·
Rule Reminder Warnings Exception Button: add the current patient as an Exception to a Rule Reminder on the spot.· Security Auto Backup File Option: automatically creates a backup copy of your main Security file.
·
Security Remind Backup: reminds you at regular intervals to make a Security Backup.· Visit Hiding and Unhiding: make certain visits private so that you (and any other user who cosigned the visit) are the only users who can read them.
· Writer Misspellings in Red: misspelled words in the Advanced Writer are displayed in red until they are fixed.
·
Writer Quick Store and Provisional Quick Store: store a note permanently or provisionally with a single keystroke, skipping a number of intermediate steps.JULY QUARTERLY UPDATE RELEASED
