VERSION 4.1 RELEASED!
We are proud to announce the release this month of the new version 4.1 of Welford Chart Notes for Windows 32-Bit and Welford Chart Notes - SQL Version. It is completely compatible with previous versions
Version 4.1 has many new features, some of which are:
· @AllergyList and @AllergyTable: inserts a list or table of the patient's Allergies into the Writer.
· Algorithms\Run\Playback: inserts the output of the algorithm into the Writer to document that you ran the algorithm and what it recommended.
· Allergy\Print: prints the patient's list of Allergies on your printer.
· Batch Importer\More: lets the Batch Importer import the entire chart (Allergies, Medications, Diagnoses, Lab Book, etc.) as exported in the Batch Print by Patient feature. This allows you to send an entire chart to a consultant, and allows you to separate a single chart mistakenly assigned to two different patients into two different charts.
· Document Manager: assigned scanned images to individual patients and users; users then see the images listed in their In-Boxes.
· Expander Change: change the name of an Expander.
· Images Jump to Messages: link messages and images, so that users can collaborate or comment on images.
· In-Box Images: shows the patient's images in your In-Box. Click on them to see them in the Image Utility.
· Lab Book\Add Jump to Algorithms: activate algorithms while entering information in the Lab Book.
· Lab Book Result Unlimited Length: permits lengthy result text in the Lab Book.
· Medication Editor Instruction 250 Characters: permits lengthy instructions in the Medication Editor.
· Name Editor Importer Match by Birthdate, Code Number, Name: import patients by matching on any combination of their names, code numbers, and birthdates.
· Parser Quick Summary Includes Orders: see Orders in the Parser Quick Summary instead of individually.
· Prescription Log Warn Too Soon and Too Late Options: get automatic warnings if the patient is requesting a refill sooner or later than one would expect based on the number of pills last prescribed and the time elapsed since that refill, allowing you to spot noncompliance.
· Prescription Writer Signature: prints your signature on prescriptions.
· Re-Parser: parses notes that had previously been stored but not parsed.
· Security Visit Protection: detects if the text of any note has been tampered since the moment it was stored, even by someone not using the program to do so.
· Security Warn that Notes are Alterable: reminds you if you have failed to make your notes Unalterable.
· Template Merging: combines Templates so that you have a single SOAP formatted note, removing duplicate lines and keeping related labeled sections together.
· Template Topics and Auto-Merge: assign Topics to each Template; then automatically insert relevant Templates whenever you type in a chief complaint sentence into your note.
· Visiter\View GoTo Button: jump to other program functions while viewing a visit.
· Vocabulary Editor User Before Program Vocabulary Option: lets you redefine Program Vocabulary terms to your own liking.
· Writer Double-Click Image to View in Image Utility: double-clicking any image placed into the Writer opens the Image Utility with that image displayed.
Version 4.1 also includes new Algorithms and help videos.
